3.Create a personal description of yourself showing why you display at least six (6) of the personal characteristics desired in a health care worker. I would also have good hygiene that’s self explanatory.
4. Why is it important to observe both verbal and nonverbal communication? Create a specific example of a situation showing how both verbal and nonverbal communication convey a message.
The worker must be able to relate to patients and their families, to co workers, and other professionals. If there was a death you would need to feel sympathetic to the family and friends around, you don't necessarily have to verbally tell them because they know you couldn't do much.
5.List five (5) factors that can interfere with the communication process. Give two (2) specific examples for each factor.
Physical disabilities, psychological barriers, cultural diversity, physical touch, disease. In some cultures you can't have direct eye contact while communicating, and if someone is deaf it would be a little harder to communicate with them.

I have a due date for myself that I need to unpack all the boxes in my house and it stresses me out because I might not make it. I need to take little by little each day, even if the “little” is 7 boxes each day. I will need to drink a lot of coffee because I get very sleepy quick so I need to stay awake; and I will need to learn that I don't need all of the things and have to throw a lot of it away so I have room for other things.
5. List six (6) stress-reducing techniques that you find beneficial. State why they help you reduce stress. Listening to chill music on blast-makes me block out negativity from the outside so I can battle the inside negativity out.
Reading the bible- so I can remind myself that God will help me through whatever I’m going through.
Breathing deeply- reduces my heart rate.
Sleep- dont have to worry anymore and I will be okay in the morning.
Do math- something that is hard but I understand and I can control and there is always one answer that you can get out of a formula
Draw- helps me just see the beauty in the world rather than my problems.
6. Differentiate between short- and long-term goals. How are they related? How are they different?
Short term- something you can achieve quickly and isn't longer than 1 year
Long term- something you want to do the rest of your life and/or something you want to do for a long time and not stop
7. What are the main goals of time management?
To make sure you have enough time in the short day to do everything you needed to do and have fun without stressing if you have enough time or not.
